Standard payment terms
Payment terms
Discount terms apply to product not service. The discount to be applied if paid within 10 days of invoice is 2% however, the full invoiced amount is due in 30 days (expressed as 2%/10, net 30)
Finance charge
Customers that do not pay their invoiced amounts within the above stated terms are assessed a finance charge of 1-1/2% per month (18% annual) for any unpaid balances. This charge is automatically charged beginning day 31 until the balance is paid.
Delinquent Accounts
Customers ignoring payment terms and are 90 days outstanding or greater will be considered delinquent. Delinquent accounts are generally placed in credit hold and purchases will be placed on COD. Payment arrangements are normally established where the customer will pay the current purchases and a portion of the delinquent balance. This arrangement must be agreed upon by both parties.
